• To build a web site to convey our research ( tell us what you think so far)
• To get all Featherstone Researchers as members of The Society
• To Hold a Family Reunion (It took five years but finally in May 2002)
• To collect all known references to the name from all records available.

Short Term Aims

• Produce a quarterly newsletter for members (now produced for 16 years 4 issues a year)

• To spread the word via web search sites.

• Collect, B.D.M. records for the U.K. (1837-1900) now complete and on this site) Now collecting additional years some are already on site.

• Collect all records in the IGI (Now complete for UK see UK Section Other records.

• To encourage members and others to display their research on this site.
