The webmaster W. Paul Featherstone holds The Guild of One Name Studies membership for the above surnames. The combining of information into one database has progressed to the stage where I think it could be useful and it is available here. Updated 21 Sep. 2011

The society was founded by 5 English researchers, who felt that the best way to publish their findings was to publish a newsletter, and so this Society was formed and now publishes a quarterly newsletter, which is part of the benefit of membership of the Society. We also held a family gathering over the weekend of 25/26th of May 2002 in Wimbledon
A year after we started, the publisher of "Featherston Findings" a booklet of 20 volumes joined with us. Featherston Findings are now on the web site in our USA - Index section.
A new project set up in July 2003 to discover hidden links in our family lines The Featherstone DNA project
The earliest known Featherstone that we have information on is Helius (Elias) de Fetherstonhalgh abt 1202, but see the History pages for more information.
