Your chance to participate in the Society DNA project set up to try and determine if all name variations are linked and if all of the lines are linked to the same progenitor.
The Y chromosome is passed from father to son unchanged, except for a mutation about every 500 generations. Testing the Y chromosome will provide you with a genetic finger print consisting of 12 numbers. By comparing this finger print to others with your surname, you can determine if they are related.

What I would like to do is to link the DNA samples we get to the family tree's of participants, so that as we get more participants, we can show which lines have the same sample- even if we cannot link in the normal paper & source way.
So to participate you will need to send your family line to me so we can look at the above objectives to classify you into a group, as well as give a sample. The cost to those wishing to take part is $99 plus postage to a maximum of $4.
