In FEATHERSTON FINDINGS, Volume 16, page 7 under COMPLETE TOMBSTONE CENSUS OF
DOUGLAS COUNTY, KS, we asked the question, "Can anyone identify Edwin J.
Featherston?" Douglas Co., KS 1870 census record shows Edwin Featherston, age
20. b. OH, son of William Featherston (b. England) and Catherine Featherston
(b. Ireland). Edwin with a family is also listed in the 1910 Morris County, KS
census, age 59. The Edwin J. Featherston, b. 1850, d. 1930 and buried in
Douglas County, KS is surely a son of William and Catherine.

In FEATHERSTON FINDINGS, Volume 16, page 10. the question was asked, "Can

Rhyne) Featherston, grandmother to Mollie Elizabeth Morton Hines.

JFH: Thank you very much James, for your answer to this question. Is Mollie
Elizabeth Morton Hines the daughter of Amanda Anne Featherston as shown in
volume 4, at the bottom of page 23 as having married Percy Featherston? Is
this an error?
Additional information submitted by Mr. Callahan also answers another of our
questions shown on page 10, vol. 16. Pike Co., MS Marriages lists the
marriage of L.A. Featherston and Peter Quinn on 31 Oct 1887. Mr. Callahan
also sent a copy of his reading of the 1910 Lowndes Co., MS Census, showing
the household which we included Allie B. Wood. His reading of this record
does not include Allie B. Wood. I suspect he/she was in another household.
I would like to buy a copy of the book "Good Morning Mr. Featherstone?" by
Eula Perkinson.
