WB 5:140 Account estate of Thomas and Mary French with Charles Featherstone
Admr from 14 July 1785. Mary French made purchases from sale of Thomas French
estate at Fonthill. No date of Mary French's sale. Charles Featherstone
charged estate for support of Mary French and family, Martha and Lucy. Mr. Wm
Murray attended the settlement and he believed all the charges to be be just
but objected to the mode of statement blending the two accounts together which
he thought should be separated. Returned 22 Jan 1795.

In the Name of God Amen I William Feaston of Amelia County being sick and
Weak but of Sound and Perfect Memory do make this my last Will and Testament
as followeth First I desire all my Just Debts and funeral Expences may be
paid. Item I give to Stephen Neal Son of my wife Catherine all my wearing
apparell.
Item: My will is that my Grey Horse and Silver Watch be Sold by my Executor
hereafter mentioned and the money arriveing by Such Sale to pay to my well
beloved Wife Catherine to whom I give it All the remaining part of my Estate
Except what is hereafter Excepted I give to my wife Catherine Feaston
Lastly I give to my Friend John Booker the Son of Richard Booker Deceased, Two
pounds Current money and I do Constitute and appoint him the said John Booker
Executor of This my last Will Revoking all other wills heretofore by me made.
In witness whereof I have this 21 day of December 1752 Set my hand and Seal
