Featherston, Helen Featherston, Freddie Featherston, Mrs. Elmo Featherston, Mr. and Mrs. John Featherston, Mr. Webb Featherston, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Featherston, Lucy Featherston, Lee Featherston, Jim Featherston, Jerry Featherston, Ed Featherston and Ruth Wyatt, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cunningham and daughters Mignon and Delphine, Mrs. Laura Bell Featherston, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jewell, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jackson and daughter Maurine and Mrs. Howard Johnson. Those from Cape Cirardeau were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Miles and three boys, Mr. and Mrs. Warner Mitchener, Miss Virginia Schumer, Monroe Rhodes and Ellen O'Brien and Miss Corine Featherston from Sikeston. - MRS. GARRISON PASSES AWAY EARLY FRI. MORNING(Charlotte Lee Featherston Garrison -died Aug. 19, 1936) Mrs. Lee Garrison, wife of W.J. Garrison, died at her home east of town early last Friday morning, following a paralytic stroke which she suffered the previous Sunday. Mrs. Garrison was born in Franklin county, Kentucky, Sept. 26, 1867, and was married Feb. 2, 1886. She came to this county about 42 years ago. She was a good christian woman and had many friends. ' She is survived by her husband; three sons, Clarence Garrison of St. Louis and Fred and Walter of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Nettie Hector of Poplar Bluff; two half sisters, Mrs. Ora Rideout and Mrs. Minnie Ponder of Doniphan, and three half brothers, J.C. Featherston of Brandsville, Henry and Jess Featherston of Doniphan. The funeral was held at the Church of God at 10:30 o'clock, Saturday morning, conducted by the pastor Rev. G.H. Pye. Burial was in Amity cemetery east of town. Out of town relatives here for the funeral were: John and Alf Featherston and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jackson and daughter of Clinton, Ky., and Clarence Garrison of St. Louis, who came down several days before his mother's death. Aug 21, 1936. WM. J. GARRISON DIES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS(William Jerome Garrison, husband of Charlotte Lee Featherston, died Oct. 20, 1940. Both are buried in Amity Cemetery near Doniphan.) William J. Garrison died Sunday afternoon at the home of his son, Fred, east of town, where he made his home, following an illnes of only a few hours. He was 79 years, 11 months and 11 days old. Mr. Garrison was a native of Kentucky, but migrated to Missouri in 1892, locating near Piedmont. Later, in la9s, he came to Ripley county and had
