FEATHERSTONS GATHER FOR FAMILY-REUNION

The Featherston families from Missouri and Kentucky, with relatives and friends to the number of fifty-nine met Sunday morning at Sikeston for a family reunion. Well filled dinner baskets of home cured Kentucky ham and Missouri fried chicken was much in evidence and the noon day spread was enjoyed by all present. For some of the relatives it was the first meeting in thirty or thirty-five years and it was agreed it should be made an annual event. Everyone present had an enjoyable time re-newing acquaintances and talking over old times.

Those attending from Doniphan were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Garrison, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Garrison, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. (Bob) Garrison and son Bob, Mrs. M.E. Garrison, W.J. Garrison, Mrs. R.A. Owens and daughter Ruth, Mrs. Minnie Ponder, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Featherston and son Jean and daughters, Veta and Dorothy and Bernard Braschler.
