Volume 12 - September 1993. FEATHERSTON FINDINGS has now passed its third
anniversary. Thanks to each of you, we are still going strong. It is my hope
that this series has helped you in gaining knowledge of our various
Featherston(e) families. With various items of information in this volume, I
have attempted to identify individuals as to their branch number as shown in
previous volumes and/or their parents.
After 12 years of gathering and sorting Featherston(e) material, I have learned
a great deal about our ancestors
and their descendants. However. I'm still unable to identify some individuals.
In this volume you will find notes asking for help with this problem. If anyone
can help, please notify us.
The majority of our readers are descendants of Featherston(e)s who settled in
the southern U.S. Most of the material that has been submitted involves these
branches. I'm sure you are all aware that many Featherston(e)s also settled in
the northern sections of our country.
Some volumes of FEATHERSTON FINDINGS contain items about our northern cousins
and will continue to do so. However, in most cases I cannot make identification
of these individuals. If anyone can help us with this, please let us know.
Thank you for your support.
