You will find lots of information here and there are lots of
navigation side bars hidden behind the links on the left, we have tried to sort
the information into logical categories.
The site has now got it's own "Back of the Book"
index, this is still being
worked on but is showing improvement, You will find one for England & Wales by
following the links on the left.
Just click on Index in the top part of the
page to see it in action. There are two separate indexes one for the England and
Wales section and one the USA.
The one in this section is for all the other countries apart from Ireland which
we are still working on .

We welcome information which we could use on this site, we
would be pleased for the chance to display it for all Featherstone and variant
surnames. Please contact the webmaster,
in all cases please name your sources. Our preferred layout is in
Excel or other spread sheet format, or just plain text if you wish to share your
