No other information but the comment is "to be buried in the Tower meant
that you either lived and worked there or that you were a child of a family
who lived there There were about a thousand people living in the Tower in the
16c -Courtiers who waited on the Royal Family Soldiers Yeomen and workers at
the Royal Mint
This is the interesting one
Richard Featherstone Committed on 13th December 1534 and maintained at the
lowest rate of 40p per week for refusing the Oath of Supremacy The undated
list of 1535 showed he was held in the White Tower
He was hanged drawn and quartered at Smithfield on 30th July 1540 He was
beatified -made a Saint in 1886
