     Catherine Parkinson was born circa 1734; Her parents came from Fence in Bowland, moving to Blindhurst when her mother and brother William died. It appears that her sister, her Father and his brother Robert moved with her.1 She was the daughter of John Parkinson of Bowland and Ellen (?).2 Catherine Parkinson was baptized on 9 February 1734 at Whitewell, Lancashire, England.1 She married Richard Parkinson of Woodgates & Blindhurst, son of Robert Parkinson of Blindhurst and Elizabeth Beesley of Goosnargh, on 10 February 1755 at St Mary, Lancaster, Lancashire, England.1 Catherine Parkinson died before 10 May 1801.1 She was buried on 10 May 1801 at Chipping, Lancashire, England.1
