I think it was in the first half of the year, but not sure, and mum hasn't any idea where the death certificate is. I have a little more info on Frederick Featherstone born 3rd March, 1887, Chapel Row, Higham R.S.D..  He was the son of Robert Featherstone and Ellen Jane Featherstone, formerly Wickens.

He married Elsie Elizabeth Boon (nee Mildren) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1920.  This was a second marriage for him and he had one son, also named Frederick born approximatley 1900 or 1901.

Frederick and Elsie  had a daughter, believed to be adopted, in 1921 in Toronto.  Frederick worked as a letter carrier for Canada Post and was injured on his route around 1935/36.  He died of complications (gangrene) in 1936.

He had been with the 18th Battalion and was an army vet.

Frederick Featherstone was my grandfather, who I never knew but I have his birth certificate and info on his death.  We searched for his wife, Elsie and found some info on her but only after her marriage to Frederick.
