554 Thomas Featherstone 1881 Wilts

 

This is the last will and testament of me Thomas Featherstone of Salisbury in the county of Wilts Gentleman I devise and bequeath All real and personal estate to which I shall be entitled at the time if my decease and over which I have disposing power unto my dear wife Hannah Featherstone for her absolute use trusting that my said dear wife will at her death in the event of there being no issue of our marriage distribute my said real and personal estate between my brother Robert Featherstone and my sister Ann Featherstone or their children in the event of their or either of their decease leaving children in the lifetime of my said dear wife but this expression of my confidence shall not abridge her absolute ownership or create any equity in their favour and I hereby appoint my said wife sole executrix of my will In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this second day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five Signed by the testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses RM Wilson of Salisbury Atty at Law   Thos Sharpe his Clerk

Proved at Newcastle-upon-Tyne the twenty forth day of October 1881 by the oath of Hannah Featherstone widow the relict the sole executrix to whom Administration was granted

The Testator The Reverend Thomas Featherstone was formerly of Salisbury in the County of Wilts but late of The Priory Vicarage Tynemouth in the county of Northumberland Clerk in Holy Orders and died on the second day of October 1881 at the Priory Vicarage aforesaid
