In the name of God Amen I William Featherstone Sergt of R Marines Majesty’sShip “Inflexible” Steam Sloop now a patient in the Royal Naval Hospital being of sound and disposing mind and memory do hereby make this my last will and testament that is to say I give and bequeath unto my sister Mrs Over of 24 Upper Roof Garden Brighton County of Sussex all such wages prize money allowances and other sum or sums of money as now are or hereafter may be due to me for my service on board the said ship or any other ship or vessel of the Royal Navy together with all other my estates and effects whatsoever and wheresoever situate And do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my sister Mrs Over my sole executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other and former wills by me heretofor made and do declare this to be my last will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 30th day of January in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight and in the twenty first year of the reign of Our Sovereign Lady Queen Victoria by the right of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland Queen Defender of the Faith Wm Featherstone Signed sealed published and ordered by the said William Featherstone as and for this last will and testament in the presence of Richard Dickon and Herbert L Diaper who have hereunto subscribed their names as witnesses in the presence of each other and of the said testator on the day of the date above written
