304 Catherine Featherstone 1858 Lancs

 

This is the last will and testament of me Catherine Featherstone of number 122 Upper Moss Lane Hulme in the City of Manchester widow

I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann Featherstone the whole of my household furniture goods chattels and household effects And as to all the residue of my estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever subject to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I give and bequeath the same unto and equally amongst all my children

And I appoint my son Hamlet Featherstone and my son in law Edmund Hampson Aspinwall of Arnott Street Greenheys in the city of Manchester executors of this my will In witness whereof I the said Catherine Featherstone have hereunto set my hand this first day of February one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight

Catherine Featherstone signed published and declared by the said Catherine Featherstone the testator as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other hereto subscribed our names as witnesses being all present at the same time

I certify that the foregoing is a correct copy of the Original Will of Catherine Featherstone deceased Proved in the District Registry at Manchester John Burder District Registrar

On the eleventh day of August 1858 the will of Catherine Featherstone late of No 122 Upper Moss Lane Hulme in the city of Manchester widow deceased who died on the 2nd day of February 1858 at no 122 Upper Moss Lane Aforesaid was proved in the District Registry attached to Her Majestys Court of Probate at Manchester by the Oaths of Hamlet Featherstone of no 75 York Street within the said City of Manchester Flannel Merchant the son of the deceased and Edmund Hampson Aspinwall of no 79 York Street aforesaid Smallwear Dealer the executors therein named they having been first sworn duly to administer  Effects under £100 no leaseholds
