3 Matthew Featherstonhaugh Beds 1877

This is the last will & testament of Matthew Featherstonhaugh of Church Street Woburn Sands Beds late of Newport Pagnell Bucks I hereby give  devise and bequeath to my son Charles Featherstonhaugh of Church Street Woburn Sands Beds for his sole use and benefit absolutely for ever all my estate and effects both real & personal whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature and quality so ever-and I hereby appoint my son Charles Featherstonhaugh sole executor to this my will  I hereby direct my executor administrs or assigns to pay to Matthew Featherstonhaugh my grandson on his attaining the age of 21 years the sum of fifty pounds sterling  Should the said Matthew Featherstonhaugh die before obtaining the age of 21 years the said sum of fifty pounds is by my desire to be for my son Charles Featherstonhaugh and I also direct my executor to give F[?]uber Taylor and Henry Taylor the sum of twenty five pounds each my grandsons on their attaining the age of 21 years if either die before attaining the age of twenty one the surviving brother takes the two shares of twenty five pounds each If both die before attaining the age of twenty one years I in that case I give bequeath the said bequests to my son Charles Featherstonhaugh before said I now confirm my will In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 4th day of May in the year of our Lord 1877

Signed by the said testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses John Paul Summerley Woburn Sands Beds Benjamin Jackson

Proved at Northampton the 30th day of May 1877 by the oath of Charles Featherstonhaugh the son the sole executor to whom administration was granted

The testator was late of Church Street Woburn Sands in the county of Bedford and died on the 9th day of May 1877 at Church Street Woburn Sands aforesaid Under £450
