813 Anna Featherstonhaugh 1841 Middlesex

 

This is the last will and testament of me Anna Featherstonhaugh of Sion Place Isleworth after payment of my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses I give my property and effects as follows I give to my brother William and each of my sisters five pounds each to purchase some token in remembrance of me I give to my cousin John James Clark all such articles of household furniture as are now used by him and are in and about my house in his occupation and all the books in my bedroom and I also give him the silver cup given to me by the late Mr James Elwyn and I give to his wife Maria Clark my gold watch ? and whatsoever money I may leave or may be coming to me at the time of my death after such payments as above I give the same equally to my brothers George and Charles and all the rest of my household furniture goods chattels plate and all other my estate and effects of what nature or kind soever I give unto my dear sister in law Ellen Clark And I appoint my brother George sole executor of this my will and revoking all former wills I do declare this only to be my last will and testament As witness my hand this 18th day of December 1838 Anna Featherstonhaugh Signed and Published in our presence at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereunto ES Spicer Harriett Chapman

Appeared personally Harriett Starling [wife of John Starling of No 3 ffountain Court Lambeth Walk in the county of Surrey Light porter] heretofore Harriett Chapman spinster and made oath that she is one of the subscribed witnesses of the due execution of the last will and testament of Anna Featherstonhaugh late of Sion Place Isleworth in the county of Middlesex widow deceased which said will bears date the eighteenth day of December in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty eight which is now hereunto annexed and she further made oath that the said deceased on the said eighteenth day of the said month of  December one thousand eight hundred and thirty eight duly execute her said will by signing her name at the foot or end thereof in the presence of this deponent and of Eliza Sarah Spicer set and subscribed their names thereto as witnesses in the presence of the said testatrix and of each other Harriett Starling On 20th day of January 1841 the said Harriett Starling was duly sworn to the truth of the affidavit 23cfoce.
