This is the last will and testament of me William Featherstonhaugh of Isleworth in the county of Middlesex gentleman in manner following I give devise and bequeath unto my dear son John ffeatherstonhaugh all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever except only what is hereinafter by me otherwise disposed of to hold unto my said dear son his heirs executors admons and assigns for ever I give unto my servant Sarah Roath if she shall be living with me at the time of my decease two years wages and I also give unto the said Sarah Roath [if she shall be living with me at the time of my decease] [crossed out] for and during her natural life and while she remains single the rents issues and profits of the end house next the Phoenix public house in Isleworth in the row called Phoenix Row and I give unto my very good friends Mr John Sennon of Isleworth and his wife a mourning ring each of the value of two guineas and I appoint my dear son sole executor of this my will and revoking all former wills so declare this only to be my last will and testament as witness my hand and seal this ninth day of September in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two Wm Featherstonhaugh Signed Sealed published and declared by the above named testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses G Clark Sol Brentford Hep Grainault Isleworth John James Clark Brentford
Proved at London 6th April 1824 before the Worshipful Charles Coote Dr of Laws Surrogate by the oaths of John ffeatherstonhaugh the son the sole Executor to whom admon was granted having been first sworn duly to admin
