This is the last will and testament of me Mary Featherstone of the City of Ripon Spinster made this fifth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty three I appoint my dear brother Craven John Featherstone a Commander in the Royal Navy the sole executor of this my will And I devise unto him and his heirs all estates vested in me upon any trust by way of mortgage subject to the equities affecting the same respectively I give and devise unto my said brother Craven John Featherstone all the real and personal estate monies and property whatsoever and wheresoever To hold the same unto and to the use of him my said brother his heirs executors administrators and assigns respectively for his and their own use and benefit Subject to the payment of my debts funeral and testamentary expeses I revoke all former wills by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed and set my hand and seal the day and year first above written Mary Featherstone [LS] =Signed sealed and acknowledged by the said Mary Featherstone the testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Sams Wise Solr Ripon Mary Dent
