851 William Feverstone Kent 1746
In the name of God Amen I William Feverstone of Smarden in the county of Kent yeoman Do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following First and principally I commend my soul into the hand of Almighty God my Creator and my body to the earth to be decently buried by my executor hereinafter mentioned and as touching and concerning my worldly goods wherewith the Lord hath been pleased to bless me. I give and dispose these of as followeth. Item I do give devise and bequeath unto my eldest son William Feverstone and to his heirs and assigns for ever all my household goods and implements of household, plate jewels, ready monies, bonds, mortgages, notes of hands, or whatsoever and owing to me at my decease and all other my goods chattels and effects of what nature or kind soever or wheresoever with all my cattle and stock in trade of what nature or kind soever and all other my personal estate unto my said son William Feverstone and to his heirs and assigns for ever He the said William Feverstone paying out of the said goods chattels and effects these legacies in manner and form following Item I give and bequeath unto my son in law Thomas Reed of Smarden in the aforesaid county of Kent blacksmith One shilling and no more to be paid by my executors within one month next after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto my son in law Thomas Hayter butcher one shilling and no more to be paid by my said executors within one month next after my decease Also I give devise and bequeath unto my son Thomas Feverstone of T[F]sinsted in the said county of Kent yeoman twenty pounds to be paid by my executors within two years next after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto my son Peter Feverstone twenty pounds to be paid within two years next after my decease by my said executors Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the wife of the aforesaid Thomas Reed of Smarden in the county of Kent blacksmith fifteen pounds to be paid by my executors in the quarterly payment of five shillings a quarter the first quarterly payment to be made at the next quarter day after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto William and Thomas sons of my said son William Feverstone twenty shillings each to be paid by my said executors within one year next after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto Thomas William and Jane the sons and daughter of my said Son Thomas Feverstone twenty shillings each to be paid by my executor when the two boys arrive at the age of twenty one years and the girl at the age of eighteen Also I give and bequeath unto the two children one son and one daughter of my daughter Damaris deceased formerly the wife of Thos Hayter butcher one pound each to be paid by my executor when the boy arrives at the age of twenty one years and the girl at the age of eighteen Lastly I do constitute confirm and appoint my said son William Feverstone sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me heretofore made In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twentieth day of April in the eighteenth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty five The mark of William Feverstone
