This is the last will and testament of me William Featherstonhaugh of Witton Gilbert in the county of Durham made the seventh day of October in the year of  our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Ann Featherstonhaugh all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever to hold the same unto and to the use of the said Ann Featherstonhaugh her heirs executors administrators and assigns respectively for ever according to the different natures and tenures thereof subject nevertheless to and charged with the payment of all such debts as I shall owe at the time of my decease I constitute and appoint the said Ann Featherstonhaugh sole guardian of all my children during their respective minorities and executrix of this my last will and testament and I hereby revoke all my former wills In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written Wm Featherstonhaugh

Signed sealed published and declared by the said William Featherstonhaugh as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto     John Griffith  Geo Griffith   Joseph Davison

 

On the 17th day of March 1831 Ann Featherstonhaugh of Witton Gilbert in the county of Durham widow the sole executrix named in the within written will was sworn as usual under £800 before me Jno Clarke Sur
